About Leslie Jacobs &
Maribel Hat Boutique

Hi, I’m Leslie Jacobs, founder and owner of Maribel Hat Boutique.

Maribel Hat Boutique is inspired by my deep connection to Arizona, particularly the iconic Camelback Mountain. Growing up in Scottsdale, Camelback was a constant presence in my life—whether I was hiking its trails, attending a Saguaro High School football game, or driving along McDonald Drive. Over time, it became a symbol of resilience, beauty, and the enduring spirit of the Southwest. It reminded me to stay grounded while striving for new heights—and it continues to serve as the foundation for our boutique.

After graduating from Arizona State University, I began my career in the corporate world at the Dial building on Scottsdale Road (now Scottsdale Quarter). Later, I worked for Gatorade and transitioned into the pharmaceutical industry, where I found fulfillment in helping patients live better lives. These diverse experiences, combined with my passion for personal growth, led me to pursue my dream of creating Maribel Hat Boutique.

The Story Behind the Name

Maribel isn’t just a brand name—it’s personal. Maribel is my middle name, one I didn’t fully appreciate when I was younger. But as I embarked on the journey to open my boutique, I found myself rediscovering its beauty and significance in ways I hadn’t expected.

Maribel represents a blend of grace and strength, qualities that reflect both my own journey and the hats we offer. It felt only right for Maribel—once a quiet influence in my life—to now take center stage as a symbol of resilience, beauty, and the spirit of adventure.

Thank you for being a part of this journey. We hope that, just like Camelback Mountain, Maribel Hat Boutique inspires you to stand tall, stay grounded, and embrace your own path to new heights.
